'ButterCreamLoaf' started from a single ambition: to deliver the true taste of Neapolitan pizza to London. The Bianchi family opened this pizzeria in 1985, initially a humble venture rooted in family traditions passed down for generations.

Luca Bianchi, the founder, absorbed the art of pizza crafting on her Italian journey, training with renowned pizzaiolos in Naples, where pizza was born. When she returned to the UK, her mission was to reproduce the enchantment of authentic Italian pizza, sticking to classic techniques and top-notch components.

What kicked off as a quaint 12-seater has flourished into a cherished local fixture, with the original values of excellence and authenticity intact. We still employ traditional wood-firing approaches, prepare our dough from scratch each day, and prioritize superior ingredients.

The present-day 'ButterCreamLoaf' is still under the care of the family, with the Bianchi's next generation at the helm, continuing to guide our dedicated team. We have adapted some contemporary advancements, but our core principle remains unchanged: to produce delectable, genuine pizza that unites people.
